Nearing the end of another week of playing

Thursday was really busy. I'm just now caught up enough to dictate this to Mommy. Our large room was really hopping yesterday with Koco (Lab), JJ (Lab mix), Blitz (Bearded Collie mix), Poppy (Bearded Collie), and Mattie (English Bulldog). JJ and Koco shocked us all by splitting up for part of the morning. JJ played more with Blitz, until Mattie arrived. Then he was really into playing with her. Koco and Poppy chased balls and toys. Mason (Border Collie) chased balls while his big brother Jackson (Border Collie) supervised. Leks (Great Dane) joined the crowd in the afternoon and fit in immediately.
In the small room, we were pretty busy, too. Honey (Golden Retriever) made sure the people gave her lots of love. Bingo (Border Collie mix) started the morning with the big dogs but had more fun playing in my room with Jaycie (English Springer Spaniel) and Carlee (Husky mix). Cooper (Maltese) and Cooper (Yorkshire Terrier) hung out with the babies a lot - Raia, Zac, Daisy, and Hercules. Dora (Doberman/Pit mix) came to stay with us at the end of the day. She is the last of the litter to come to the lodge. We're hoping someone falls in love with her quickly. Molly (Mountain Cur) and Tiki (Golden Retriever) wrestled quite a bit. Ike (Schnauzer/Basset Hound) came to visit for the day. He's really hoping his mommy is able to open a place like this up in the Poconos one day.

Now for Friday: Hank (Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Dog mix) came for the morning and played so nicely with Jager (German Shorthair Pointer) and Leks. Barrett (American Bulldog mix) started with the big guys but was ready for something a little more mellow by mid-morning. He loved running in and out all he wanted, since the big door stayed open. Cooper (Yorkie), Molly (Mountain Cur), Jaycie, Tiki, Jackson, and Mason were all back for more fun today. Jackson was thrilled to see two of his "sheep" arrive - Chico (Lhasa Poo) and Guinness (Terrier mix). Jaycie attempted a little tug-of-war game versus the puppies. She was winning until Tiki came over and joined the puppy side and led them to victory! Then everyone layed down together to chew on the big braided rope for a while. We were all outside when the big truck came to take the dumpster. Although it was on the other side of the fence, some of my friends were nervous, so we all ran inside to stay safe. As soon as the truck was gone, we were back outside. Molly may be developing a crush on little Cooper. She was spending a lot of time with him today. I'll be keeping an eye on them. He's a little young for her, but I hear being a cougar is the cool new thing. I guess Molly is up on the latest trends.
